One day, the day least expected, a woman rang Rita Malú and told her she had a proposition to make, but that it couldn’t be done over the phone. Finally a client! That day, life seemed to take on a whole new meaning. They arranged to meet two hours later in the detective’s office. The woman had a pale face and was very thin, almost thirty, dressed soberly, seemed sad, her name was Dora. The advertisement had caught attention, the woman said –“so original”, she emphasized- because it claimed the ability to find someone who was hiding out. It fitted, she said, the profile of investigator she needed.
